Philip is a native Houstonian who has lived and worked in Houston the vast majority of his life. He attended Strake Jesuit High School, Texas A&M University and finished at the University of Houston with a BBA in Finance.
He is currently employed (18+ years) as President and Chief Executive Officer of BMS Management, Inc. which is a privately owned commercial real estate company engaged in the property management and leasing of its own properties in the greater Houston area. The current BMS portfolio consists of approximately two (2) million square feet of commercial properties.
Prior to BMS, Philip worked as Executive Vice President for Ed Wulfe & Co. for three (3) years and ten (10) years as Regional Vice President of property management for Grubb & Ellis/Houston. He has spent the majority of his career in the operations/property management side of the business.
Philip has been active in the Houston real estate community throughout his career as indicated below:

- Westchase District, Board of Directors

- Houston Real Estate Council, President
Outside of real estate, Philip has been active in several charities, most recently volunteering with Texas Children’s Hospital and very actively with Elves & More. He has been a long time marathon runner and is a Committee Chair (finish line) with the Houston Marathon.
He holds two real estate designations; CPM (Certified Property Manager) and CSM (Certified Shopping Center Manager) and has been recognized by IREM as CPM of the year and twice received the IREM Presidential Award.
Philip currently serves as President for the Houston Real Estate Council.
